What is the Middle Years Programme (MYP) in the IB Curriculum?
August 21, 2025
In a world that’s rapidly evolving, academic excellence is no longer about memorization and high scores alone — it’s about cultivating curious thinkers, problem-solvers, and compassionate leaders. At Learning Oasis International & National School (LOINS), academic excellence is a living philosophy that shapes every classroom, lesson, and learner.
Here’s how LOINS turns that philosophy into reality.
1. Inquiry-Based Learning as the Foundation
At LOINS, inquiry-based learning replaces traditional rote methods. Students are encouraged to question, investigate, and reflect — whether they’re exploring environmental science or solving real-world math problems. This strategy not only supports retention but also fosters independence, ownership, and a lifelong love of learning.

2. Integration of 21st-Century Skills
The school’s curriculum is designed to equip students with essential 21st-century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, and adaptability. Whether in the National or International stream, students learn to connect classroom theory with the complexities of the real world.

4. Family and School Partnership
At LOINS, parents aren’t just spectators — they’re partners. The school maintains open channels of communication with families and regularly invites them into the learning journey through conferences, newsletters, and parent engagement initiatives. This synergy enhances student performance and well-being.
5. Personalized Mentorship and Academic Support
Every student is unique — and so is their academic journey. LOINS offers personalized mentoring and academic intervention programs that cater to each student’s learning pace and style, ensuring that no one is left behind.
